Your report must be bound and any media attached in a paper or plastic sleeve that is included in the binding.

The Report which includes the:

  • Concept document;
  • Function specification;
  • Competitive Analysis;
  • Top-Level Design;
  • Cost/Benefit Analysis

The Report is critical to your understanding of what your proposed project is designed to do and for whom it is designed. It is important that it be well researched and written. It is also critical that you have a firm understanding of proper writing style.

This report is somewhat different from the Literature Review that you wrote in previous modules and the Literature Review that you will include in your final MA Project Report. This report is written in an active voice and adopts a business approach. Your literature review is written in a passive voice and adopts an academic approach.

Excellent

Your Report is comprehensive and well researched. You have focused on a topic and have shown to the reader that you understand the significance and importance of your chosen topic and how it will be produced into a multimedia product. It is also well written with few or no grammar and spelling errors.

Your Report demonstrates that you have some understanding of your chosen topic. You haven't narrowed down the topic as much as you should and you haven't quite managed to show the reader that you understand the significance and importance of how your topic will be produced into a multimedia product. You have some writing and grammar errors.

Fail

Your Report is very broad and lacking in scope. The topic is still broad and you do not understand the significance and importance of how your chosen topic will be produced into a multimedia product. Your report has many writing and grammar errors.
