Assessments Assessments on the computer can be either very good or very bad. It is up to the instructional designer to make sure that s/he is using assessment in a way to help facilitate the learning experience of the student. Just as in a non computer enviroment assessment they can be either formative or summative. Make sure that you know the purpose for the assessment.
